It's always nice to get positive feedback from a client. Corporate, non-profit, private, including weddings ... there really is no greater feeling in the open format DJ services realm. In all honesty, my primary feedback comes from watching the crowd throughout the day. Observing how the ebbs and flows of energy aren't from random excitement or boredom but are direct results of the flow of what I play and how I present it. It is hard to put into words, but there is a feeling of power to enhance the entertainment for a group of people and those immediate responses / impressions are some of the most fulfilling. But feedback after the fact is always welcome and appreciated.

But my hope is no matter whom I am working for -- especially during the hours of their event. That person or group of people literally become my whole world at that moment. I take it extraordinarily seriously when someone places their trust in me to provide entertainment support for something that matters to them. No matter the scale, these events are not inexpensive for the individual, and the connection I commit to is talking more through my musical sets and attention to my setups versus making the event a focus on me as the person. I focus on respect for those that hired and trusted me.

Take weddings, for example. Sure you need to exhibit patience at times, but more so to be able to truly listen to the needs and concerns of the client while also adding perspective that they may not have thought of. Maybe there is a special family moment they want (like a son in the DJ booth with you, for example -- I'm just spit balling here; or a special song the bride doesn't expect-- who knows?) Nothing is linear and cookie cutter from one wedding to the next. I provide perspective and expertise so when it comes time to pump that music, all other concerns are addressed, and everyone can simply throw cares away and enjoy the moment.

And when any client speaks to that patience, that perspective, and that time to shine in feedback, it's a valuable asset I never take lightly. Thank you to all you clients out there that looked to DJ Fo4 with faith -- I hope you've enjoyed your journeys with me.
